Production Supervisor 

FitzMac is focused on providing innovative building solutions to the Irish construction market through Modern Methods of Construction (MMC). We currently have multiple rapid build modular building products for both the Commercial & Residential sectors using the FitzMac designed Modular Building System to suit all needs. Due to expansion, we would now like to appoint a Production Supervisor to join our team at our manufacturing facility just outside Newcastle West, Co. Limerick.

As Production Supervisor, you will oversee the manufacturing process on the shop floor. You will lead day-to-day activities in production with responsibility for safety, quality and manufacturing output. You will report to the General Manager. We work a day shift, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities of the Role Include:

• Driving a team-based approach across manufacturing.
• Mentoring and developing members of the manufacturing team.
• Ensure production targets are met in a timely, safe and cost-effective manner.
• Safety and quality throughout the manufacturing process.
• Problem solving and continuous improvement.
• Ensure open two-way communications between the shop floor and management.
• Maintaing all relevant day-to-day records of activity in production.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with your colleagues in production and with management.

Education and Skills Required:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment at supervisor level.
• A relevant qualification in a manufacturing discipline.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability and willingness to drive safety, quality and continuous improvement.
• Ability to communicate and build relationships at all levels.
