FitzMac was established in 2021 with a clear focus on providing innovative building solutions to the construction sectors throughout Ireland, through Modern Methods of Construction (MMC).
The term Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) is a building system that allows the reduction of construction time and cost without compromising on quality in line with the new needs emerging in today’s construction industry.
FitzMac currently have multiple rapid build modular building products for both the Commercial & Residential sectors using the Fitzmac designed Modular Building System, along with other products including transpack modular and site accommodation products to suit all needs.
At FitzMac, we are focused on satisfying client and customer needs in a cost and time effective manner without compromising on quality in comparison to any other construction methods.

OUR facility
FitzMac’s manufacturing facility is located at Castlelands Business Park, Newcastle West, Co. Limerick which is specifically designed for the manufacturing of our Modular Buildings.
The facility consists of 10,500ft2 of manufacturing space including office and 27,500ft2 of yard space comprising of both material storage space and modular unit storage space.
Billy Fitzgerald - Director
Billy FitzGerald is a Chartered Degree Qualified Construction Manager with over 15 years’ experience in General Contracting in the UK & Ireland with particular expertise in Superstructures and Fit out. Billy started his working career with a Tier 1 Civil Construction contractor in Ireland before immigrating to London where he gained valuable experience with multiple Tier 1 Contractors managing muti-million pound projects throughout London. Billy returned to Ireland in 2018, and later became Production & Operations Manager of an Irish based modular building company heading up the production and manufacturing division of the business.
Cathal McDaid - Director
Cathal McDaid has a Degree Qualified Civil Engineer with over 10 years’ experience in delivering both commercial and residential projects in Ireland & Overseas. Cathal commenced his studies in Limerick Institute of Technology and completed his studies in Griffith University Australia. Cathal also holds a Graduate Diploma in Project Management. Cathal has extensive experience in managing and delivering infrastructure and development projects throughout the world including Australia, Africa, Asia and Ireland. Cathal served as Contracts Manager for an Irish based modular building company leading the Projects & Contracts Division, delivering Public Works projects for clients including Department of Education & HSE.
